Why There’s Literally Nothing Donald Trump Can Do Or Say To Lose His Support, Explained

Spencer Platt/Getty Images

Who is Donald Trump?

Donald Trump is a stenchy Cheeto-stuffed condom expelled from a Gila monster’s rectum and repurposed as pinata stuffing. He’s also running for President.

Oh yeah. You’ve mentioned him before. Why is he in the news today?

In less than a 12-hour span, he’s doubled down on his claim that the Central Park 5 were guilty — despite the fact that they were exonerated by DNA evidence years ago (and despite the fact that someone else confessed to the crime) — and the Washington Post found some decade old footage of him bragging to Billy Bush on how he could grab bitches “by the pussy” because he’s famous.

Wait, he really said grab bitches by the pussy?

How is that even possible? Did someone invent some magic vagina with handlegrips or something? If so, that sounds time consuming and inefficient. And also very messy.

I don’t know. He does have unusually small hands for his size, though, so maybe that helps.

I see. So this will surely be the nail in his campaign’s coffin, right? I can’t imagine any women or any men who actually love and respect women voting for him, and Omarosa was the last Black on Cheeto-Stuffed Condom island, but I’m guessing she’s gone now too.

Nah. It won’t hurt at all.

How is that even possible?

Remember that movie The Blob when everything The Blob would encounter — buildings, people, dogs, bullets, missiles, chocolate cakes, Allen Payne, etc — would just make it bigger and angrier?

Donald Trump is The Blob. Nothing can slow or deter him. His supporters are so fervent, so irrational, so indignant, so “wronged,” and so gotdamn fucking bitter that they’ve made themselves impervious to reason, sense, and decency. He is their messiah, their Neo, the stenchy Cheeto-stuffed condom stuffed in a Gila monster’s rectum that will lead them to glory.

I’d say he’s their Jesus, but the name Jesus is a bit too Mexicany for their taste. Maybe if Jesus’s name was Jesse or something.

So, there’s nothing he can do to lose support?

Well, Jamilah Lemieux joked that he’d have to be caught saying #BlackLivesMatter to lose any steam. But I doubt that would even do it. Because he’d spin it and say he’s just referring to White people who fell asleep on tanning beds.

Well said. Nothing Trump will ever do or say will be enough for him to lose support. At this point the racists are out of the woods and dmn proud of saying their sht out loud.

Just goes to show you that the right has never been about conservatism, family values, fiscal responsibility, “Jesús”, or even a tough stance against terror. Nope, the right is nothing but white supremacy and misogyny. Everything else is nothing but a façade. A ploy to help them mask who they truly are.

    • It’s only been, to Trump supporters, to holding on to the empire of white men.

      • Diego Duarte

I think these fckers want to do more than “hold on”. If they could they would exterminate minorities off the face of the Earth.

        • Nik White

Nope they’ll still want us around to perform menial tasks & entertain them.

        • Brother Mouzone

They’ll exterminate the MEN but they’ll keep the women. You see it in almost everything from movies to TV, commercials, and anything to do with the future. They have gotten into our women’s minds, which is the key to our end.

The people who are supporting Trump aren’t doing so because they like him. I mean he’s a born rich New Yorker. Not exactly middle white America’s type of guy. They are doing so despite him. They just want to blow up the government. And he says that’s what he will do.

They are mostly White folks who don’t like that slowly they are losing the advantages of being White in America. And when I say slowly, I mean marsupial sloth type slow. But they think it’s coming at light speed.

These are the same people who sent the Tea Party to Washington. They basically want to put Merica in a time machine and go back to 1950. And they think Trump can do that or at least he will try. And that is all they care about.

    • Glo

EXACTLY. For the entire duration of America’s history, poor white people have been s**t on but told, “Don’t worry, at least you’re still white,” and there has been real power behind their skin color. Recently, that’s changed. POCs are starting to have great jobs and work in industries that we were previously blocked from. We even have a black president! Meanwhile, they’re still stuck with their terrible jobs (or they’re unemployed), they’re living in bad neighborhoods, they have limited access to healthcare, and they’re struggling to feed their families. Additionally, everyone likes to hate on poor, uneducated white people…and there’s the additional benefit of not feeling guilty for hating on them because they’re also usually racist AF. This was not the America that poor white people were promised.

Trump is the first candidate that has so blatantly appealed to them on their level in a long, long time. They’re not going to drop their support of him anytime soon.

      • Diego Duarte

I think this is one of the most comprehensive comments about Trump supporters ever. Thank you. That really does make more sense than anything I’ve read or heard so far.

      • Val

Exactly. These are the people who never want to talk about race but are obsessed with their Whiteness and its privileges.

Did you ever hear that routine from Richard Pryor about the homeless white man who still would not want to trade places with him? Or maybe it was Chris Rock. Your comment reminded me of it. He may be homeless. He may be filthy and stink to the high heavens. He may be tooted up to the high heavens. But at least he has that precious white skin. Trim his hair. Clean him up. Slap a suit and tie on him and he could probably get hired over you or me.

It isn’t solely poor Whites, though. My former colleague seemed to be a Trump supporter, though I think he caught the vibe in our office, and stopped really talking about him. This man is a has a graduate degree, taught English abroad in East Asia for about five years in the early aughts, and comes from a solidly middle class family (where his father was in the military and his mother used to be a flight attendant).

He just turned 50 this year, and from what I gathered over the years working with him, he’s just quite accustomed to Being a White Man (and having all of its attendant privileges). However, there’s fear that the times are a-changing.

I think that’s the underlying factor for Trump supporters, whether we’re talking about poor White folks or White folks who are middle- to upper-middle class.

        • Glo

Oh yeah, it’s definitely not just poor white people. I just think that poor white people are the people who feel most passionately about America going back to the way it used to be, and I think they’re a group that has been ignored by politicians for a long time.

          • Duff Soviet Union

The myth of “Trump’s fans are low income” has been debunked. Trump fans have a median household income of $72K compared to $56K average. Clinton and Sanders are both at $61K. His fans aren’t “uneducated” and “poor”, they’re just racist.

            • Yeah. It’s not a poor-middle class white thing, but how fiercely white people who cling to their whiteness that determines their support for Trump.

And clinging to whiteness means that a sense of empire is vital to your sense of self-worth.

              • Brother Mouzone

                Very well said.

            • Mary Burrell

I was watching Bill Maher on HBO and he did mention that the Trump supporters have a median income of at least 70K a year so they are not poor they are just crying their white tears because they don’t want to lose their privilege and power.

              • King Beauregard

And it’s not even that they are afraid of losing ACTUAL privilege and power, so much as a heady sense of not having to answer to anyone.

        • SororSalsa

Trump has managed to harness White Rage. The folks that previously were the ones to say “I’m not racist….2.5 POC have been to my house” can now revel in their fear of the browning of America and Trump has given them a voice. He’s made racism socially acceptable…especially for white men. He may have a slightly lesser advantage with white women, who are probably not sure which way to direct their frustration, because it’s hard to know who to support when the candidate who’s speaking your language also brags that he can grab you by your p***y. Must be quite frustrating.

          • Tavarisch

            Lol@ 2.5!

            • Brother Mouzone

The .5 was mixed but could pass.. see Rashida Jones. Lol

        • Brother Mouzone

That’s the underlying message of “make America great again”

      • Personally, this is why I want to smash the welfare state. The idea of poor Whites starving, sick and malnourished is attractive to me.

        • cyanic

One problem these people are usually armed like the army.

        • Mochasister

Remind me never to cross you!

          • Late rolling, but why do you say it like that? LOL

      • lkeke35

For the first time in history, these people who have been coasting along on simply being White, are going to have to develop some skills and talents. We’re living in an age now where merely having White skin isn’t going to cut it. You gotta be able to back yo’ s*** up.

They’ve gotten soft, dumb, and complacent over the decades, with so many of them never having to put their thing down and the system supported their laziness. All the things theyve always accused Black people of being, while glorifying everything about themselves. The Greatest Generation! Really?!

Like that last line from Goodfellas:
        And now, it’s over!

What Trump has shown me is not how vile he is, but how vile and petty they are.

        • Mary Burrell

Sister stop telling the truth and making sense.

        • Blueberry01

          I have PERSONALLY witnessed this.

      • truthseeker2436577@yahoo.com

        You’re right.

      • Blueberry01

…and THEY should be the FACE of welfare…

      • heyheyno

Yep you hit it on the nail!

      • Brother Mouzone

Love this comment and love the Glo fro in your avi…lol.

    • Duff Soviet Union

People like him because he “speaks his mind” and “tells it like it is” and “he’s not PC”. Of course, when he’s actually in a room with the people he loves to talk bad about, all this disappears (see his speech in Mexico). He’s a total coward and the Democrats should be highlighting this, because that is one thing that could actually turn some of his base against him. Appeals to decency won’t work on these people.

      • Val

They know that. They just don’t care. He’s their great White hope.

    • Boom!!

    • miss t-lee

      All of this.

    • You’re right, but you forgot one thing. Racism was the only thing keeping a lot of White families fed. Take that away, and they’re in the same boat as the people in the projects. Notice that the trailer park is looking more and more like the projects in terms of drugs and crime.

      • lkeke35

I thought it always was like the projects, ‘crept for White pppl.

        • The drugs and crime were never around to that extent, unless you count alcohol as a drug. Appalachia has never been great, but it’s somehow gotten worse.

          • Mochasister

I had heard that drugs such as heroin and oxytocin have been taking a toll on white communities around the nation. On Youtube people have been uploading videos of people (mostly white) passed out from heroine overdoses in cars, Walmart, and sidewalks. Of course no one talks about sending them to jail. Black crackheads deserve to rot in jail. White drug users need “compassion and rehabilitation” to help them with their “problem.”

            • Exactly. Which is why personally they can rot in that Walmart parking lot for all I care. They didn’t give Black folk compassion back in the day. Let’s give them what they gave us. They can’t OD fast enough.

              • Mochasister

I hear you Todd. I’m not saying I agree. But I understand where you’re coming from. For some reason white people seem to expect everyone to cut them a break and show understanding and compassion for their human frailities. Yet, they can be so harsh, unsympathetic, and punitive when it comes to our human weaknesses.

            • SororSalsa

This. That’s why politicians are now focused on a “solution” and believe that we should have compassion for addicts and provide treatment instead of jail time. Because those addicts look like them. The current heroin/opioid epidemic has probably been startling for white people, because they always believed that it was a brown people problem. And not only are the addicts white, but a lot of them are not poor whites. They’re middle/upper middle income folks who got hooked on Oxy and then switched to heroin because it was cheaper. One congresswoman in my area is running on this issue.

              • Mochasister

I am not without compassion for anyone who has an addiction. It must be like having a demon riding your back. I can’t help but notice the stark contrast in the different reactions towards the two communities. Shouldn’t everyone receive compassion and help for this issue? Why the very noticeable change in tone and attitude? When I observe situations like this, I can’t help but bear a quiet resentment towards the white commmunity. I understand why some people don’t have any empathy for white drug addicts. I’m not saying I agree. But I understand.

                • Duff Soviet Union

The double standard is absolutely ridiculous. There are white guys and girls right now walking into police stations with drugs and needles on them asking for help. And getting it! They literally can’t get arrested when they try to!

I’ve never used illegal drugs, but I can’t imagine how bitter I’d be if I was a black person who’d spent time in jail for that.

            • Blueberry01

              Say it, again, Mo!

        • Mary Burrell

Except they are meth addicts or they maybe crackheads too but they are involved in criminal activity just like poor black and brown folks in low income areas but the mainstream media won’t report that.

      • Cheech

On that note, Hillbilly Elegy is a very interesting read.

        • I need to get to that book. It seems very interesting.

      • Mary Burrell

OxyContin is their drug of choice along with methamphetamine.

    • Mochasister

I’ve never understood why white folks seem so bitter and angry. Like what are you REALLY p***** about? From where I stand having white skin still affords them many perks and benefits in society. But to hear them tell it you would think minorities have complete control over them.

      • Duff Soviet Union

They’re bitter and angry because they’ve been promised the world since birth simply for being white and…they’re not getting it. They’re realising that they’ve been lied to.

        • Blueberry01

I guess that makes two of us…

      • Blueberry01

        Thank you! I don’t get it either….

When entitlement + ignorance meets unawareness…

    • Mary Burrell

Exactly I have been saying this every time this cretin Trump is discussed they (white Americans) want things to go back to the 1950’s Jim Crow that’s the era they romanticized and see as the good old days.

    • truthseeker2436577@yahoo.com

      Exactly Sister.

    • Blueberry01

      Speak, Val.

I’ve realized that ANY instance where a white person feels slighted or believes their privilege is being threatened, then it feels like “light speed” to them.

      When entitlement meets unawareness…

  • Glo

Yeah, a bunch of my friends on FB have been sharing this and saying,”That’s it. This just lost him the election,” and I’m honestly surprised that they think there is ANYTHING he can do to lose supporters. It’s been clear that he is a terrible human for this entire election. Why would this make a difference?

Anyway, I really want this nightmare of an election to be over already.

    • Diego Duarte

It’s like he said that one time: he could shoot someone, doesn’t matter who, and not lose any support.

      • Duff Soviet Union

The days of election landslides are well over. Quite simply anyone who runs as a Republican (or Democrat) is going to get at least 45% of the vote regardless of what they do. That’s the absolute baseline.

      • I think it’s even worse. I think many of his supporters want to emulate him.

    • DM.

Bc it hits too close to home. Republicans need the white, college-educated vote to win the election. Offend them + make suburban white women stay home, and the election’s over.

White ppl could care less about muslims, mexicans, blacks, which is why none of those prior comments stuck

  • People who vote for Donald Trump want to be like him. Which is frightening. Because roughly 40% of white men, according to the polls, want to be a orange soda shaded vulgarian with no money, foreign hair on his head, and with a great sense of loyalty to his penis than to his marriage.

I think that’s what gets me the most. He was married to Melina for five months when this video was made.

    • Buster Cannon

Exactly. A dude bragging about using his status to get women isn’t anything new, but he’s talking about cheating on his wife, his newlywed wife at that. The die-hard Trump stans need to really sit and ask themselves if this guy represents the values that they claim to stand for.

      • Val

All that religious right stuff has always been mired in hypocrisy though. How can you claim the moral high ground but support a racist party?

        • L8Comer

I swear they have more chex scandals too.

          • Val

Yep. And a ton of them who have been against everything LGTB have gotten busted and outed as gay. So much hypocrisy and irony.

            • Their repression is sad. They are bound to an empire that tortures them, yet they don’t want to be free because they need people of color under their booth. James Baldwin talked so much about this in his writings.

            • L8Comer

That’s what happens when you stifle yourself. You get hungry for what you want and then you’re so starved you fumble around carelessly going after it.

Care to share with the class?

                • L8Comer

Nope lolol. i don’t mind if u draw your own conclusions though lol

IJS, i know democrats do their share of running around, but i think they don’t get caught cuz they have more experience and aren’t flipping out over the thrill of doing something chexually they always wanted to do. makes sense to ME lol

      • Clockwork

I do not like Trump and am not voting for him, but you look extremely disingenuous if you are mad about Trump speaking about cheating on his wife but not at Bill Clinton for actually cheating on his wife. Bill Clinton even has an extensive history of rape/sexual assault allegations that go back to when he was in college. Stick to his policies and Hillary Clinton’s policies because both are unscrupulous people.

        • Epsilonicus

The problem us that Trump refuses to have deep policy conversations about policy. Thus, this is all that can be discussed

    • TeeChantel

That’s what bothered me most. No one is talking about his marriage and how you can hear him commenting about trying to have chex with another woman.

      • L8Comer

who’s also married. So much for the party of family values

      • Yeah. As someone who takes his vows seriously, that almost made me vomit.

    • L8Comer
