Sidenote:

For all the people who will be naming their new bebes after Barack, I am going to give the meaning of the name.

The meaning of Barack (male):
From the Hebrew meaning flash of light, the name can be found in the Bible, Judges 4:6

and Brakah (female):
From the Hebrew meaning “blessing”.

Just put that out there, I think it’s important to know what the meaning of a name is before you name your child.

Arabic and Hebrew are closely related so I am sure that if you looked up the name in Arabic you would find it along with the same meaning.
