How can you rationalize that women have to go through menstruation and childbirth? Some things will never be equal. Crying about the differences is doing nothing for your manhood points though. I think it’s a little unfair too that women are expected to wait around and wait for some schmuck to realize we’re here and worth pursuing lest we get labeled a hooker. In the end, especially these days when both men and women work, men wind up getting way more out of a long term relationship than women typically do so maybe it is fair that men put in the work in the beginning.

I was drummed out of this horrible “GAME” years ago ( blame no one, just unable or
unwilling to turn into somebody else) , but women want men to jump through all of the hoops? How does such a double-standard help anyone? Doesn’t the man also come
off as needy and desperate? How can you rationalize such an unfair difference?

Exactly. Men are conquerers by nature, hunters. They know that to win a prize they have to compete for it. Women are the prize. All we have to do is look good and be friendly and approachable. When a man comes along that you like and who is showing continued interest, you accept him. Easy.

When my husband attempted to ask me out the first time it was a lame lets meet somewhere. I acted like I didn’t hear him. He came back the next day and offered to pick me up at my apartment 25 miles away from his own to take me out on a proper date.

There is no reason for a woman to desperately pursue men. If you feel you’re ugly, fat, etc. Do something about it. Put forward your best self. Respect your boundaries. You don’t have to sleep with anyone on a first date. In fact waiting until you’re ready is one of the best ways to know if he’s into you and not just what’s between your legs.

Totally agree with you champ. As I say, the word for women who proposition men is HOOKER. And as it turns out, that’s how the women who do chase men are treated. If you’re chasing him, how do you know if he really cares about you beyond a quick tumble in the sack? You don’t because men are indiscriminant by nature. Women are the picky ones because we have more to lose in the mating game.

I did not pursue my hubs. He saw me, he liked me, he pursued me and he put a ring on it. All I did was be my wonderful sexy self and signal my availability. No hoop jumpin’ required.
