@Sula, in response to such statements I’m going to share this Facebook album with you. It’s me during the snow storm this weekend and attempting to clear the driveway of my house. I have video but apparently you can’t share that outside of Facebook (though they’re new policy indicates otherwise). I say all that to say this…SNOW IS THE ENEMY! Four hours shoveling…even with my tenant’s help

@Aunaptural, I run half-marathons too…but I am not about to be in the cold…I cross-train in the winter time to mix up the treadmill time

I love winter because it has all my favourite holidays: Christmas, Kwanzaa (yes, my family does celebrate it), New Year Eve and Day and my Birthday. I’m glad you agree about “the curious cases of the cold weather cuties”
I was born in the Boot,but lived in New Jersey, Texas (Houston) and now France,but my family lives in Omaha-there’s nothing like a White Christmas, a nice cuddle and egg nog on deck.

Best thing about winter is that you find you complain a whole lot less.

Girl left you? No time to worry about that, I gotta complain about the cold.

Get passed over for a promotion at work? That’s nothing the heat in your apartment isn’t on.

Obama letting you down? Whatever, I had to walk up the wind tunnel that is Broadway for half an hour.

I feel like most problems seem to fade away when I’m freezing cold.
