This trend is what happens when fools start going to college to get a degree in something that they have no clue to the rigors of said degree.

They just no the degree pays well-but sans passion they get bored and start fooling around with women (cuz we are talkin about men here) since they feel no need to stop aint like they got anything worth losing and it aint like they building toward anything significant.

They just go to their very well paid gig knowing they have NOTHING after work to do but go to the bar/lounge/club-not to blow off steam but to as if they still in college run through as many women as possible-when they meet their match they get on that, “I am a catch cuz…(so you should be bowing down…any minute now…any minute) oh dammit I got a phD.

What I am saying is even with prestigious advanced degrees ALL industries have their Gofer Workers-ya know the guy in the military cuz he likes guns as long as he doesnt have to shoot em.

Tons of men like this exist on Wall St and in Entertainment and yes ladies some of yall maybe even on this blog fell for this dude.

I have dated several of these women, college educated but some how got played into baby moma status like they 19 in Seth low projects in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

Its only after she is dumped and left alone (negating her degree and her “independence”) that she sees his Graphic Design degree is just that a degree it aint his passion. That explains why even when you met him 3 yrs after he got out he has no professional body of work-nothing-not even a logo for local rapper and we in NYC!! Still his bull$hit got him a car-job-apt and off course free time to bone and make her groan and these men play into young women folly that life should be a series of PEAKS with no VALLEYS. As I said unfortunately too many young black professional women are getting caught up with this guy.

Yes he’s a lame but I am more suspect about the women he was able to pull in, it seems the thug/hustla has been replaced by good man /w degree and no kids=Great Boyfriend. Thats only true if he’s really putting his heart-time and money into his passion and then judge his reactions when something goes wrong (because when chasing dreams something WILL go wrong). His response to that shows you if he is a fighter-but if he act like it was “nothing” man you got a Loser in your bed! Now it doesnt mean for sure he’d be a great BF but it reveals Character in the face of Adversity.

I cant stand it when I try to get women to tell me what was so great about their Ex-that at the time they got pregnant and all they say is -”his job-he treated them nice-he said he wanted have kids”-ya know as a man IDK what other guys hear when this is said but all I hear is “Sex and Status”. To me it is not a surprise THIS kind of guy is a louse even with degree. Its about passion people the degree is a tool to help you get there, nothing more.

Also the one that stays learning and reading YEARS after college is who you ladies (and men too) should be checking for.

Women too often get away with being superficial, while men constantly get slayed for having preferences.

Women can say all day long that they want a tall, dark-skinned dude that is ripped, but if a man mentions prefering something –anything, all hell breaks loose. (cf the post that shall not be named)

My thing is if you are gonna hold out for the Harvard gradutate/Rhodes Scholar/Rapper with the babyface and killer bod, you best not talk about anybody dating Becky. You just wait and hope your Prince Charming comes sooner than later… and not just in your dreams
