Guys who date younger women are trying to fulfill a fetish/fantasy. It could be a generally harmless one, like dating a girl w/ nice feet or it could be creepy because they don't have a fetish/fantasy - they have a sickness known as pedophilia.

@Nicki Sunshine, Your assumptions are right. I have never dated anyone my age. And younger guys just don't tickle my fancy. They tend to be a bit too emotional for me. But, it seems that older guys LOVEEEEEE lying to me about their age.I'm 20 - been off and on talking to another guy for about 2 years. He said he was 30. I was cool with it. We never made anything official because it was always the wrong time. We finally decide to make something of it. I gave it up for the first time ever on my birthday (July 10th - yes, until about 9 am that morning i was a 20 yr old virgin). I'm going to be perfectly honest and say it was more to do with getting it out of the way and humoring the curious cat than me thinking he was the one. After, while we're eating birthday cake butt a** nekkid he decides to reveal to me his actual age like he was talking about the weather or something. "Yea, so since I got you a bday cake for your 20th, what you giving me for my 46th?" SAY what now? I ask to see ID, and sure enough the man was born in '63, not '79. To top it off, he told me he didnt have any kids. He shows me a picture of his daughter who is sure enough 25. His excuse: "I didn't lie about that...she's not a kid, so therefore i dont have any kids."I shoulda known something was up when i saw that lone gray hair down there. lmfao.

Well, I usually attract older guys. So, I date anyone born in that stretch, so 3 years older to 3 years younger.

I guess it depends on what you consider “older.”

I was born in 76, anyone born between 1973 and 1979 is “my age” to me. It jus hit me like, if u got everything u want from a chick, is her age THAT much of an issue? I'm sure some would respond with a resounding YES. Either way, at one point I wouldn't even date women with kids, but found out I had, wut I'll refer to as the capacity to marry one and raise hers as my own. Then realized I had the capacity to jump in the pool so to speak, and see where this goes and I did. And for the record, by no means is she busted, she just ain't as tight as she once was but hey...the intangibles weigh more to me than her lookin like a tight chick 20yrs younger...but thats Jus Me...

@Brandon St. Randy, LOL…ain’t no Ursh over here. We had alot in common, and we enjoyed each other's company. Not to mention, he was fine as h*ll!!!But the thing that kept bugging me was that one of his closest friends' youngest son graduated 2 years before I did...and I knew him. Talk about uncomfortable times at a barbecue.I mean everything was great on a friendship level, but when it came to even holding his hand, I felt like I was with someone who was more of my dad than anything (at the time, my parents were going through a nasty divorce that I was stuck in the middle of, so his support came off more paternal than peer), so I felt it wasn't working out.But hey, I say if I'm single by the time I hit 27, and he's available, then I'm all for trying it again. But until then, I think I should stick with people closer to my place in life. Its nice to be around someone well established, but its kind of weird when you're eating ramen and living with your parents (I've since moved out), and your guy is eating caviar on his boat (no kidding). Definitely don't need someone taking care of me. That is what my parents are for, and what I'm capable of.(sorry for the novel)

I was on and off dating a 38 year old (I was 22).
