Friday Fun: Ride Your Imagination and Then Whisper

It’s Friday and for some of us, it has been a very trying week. If you’re like me, you want to unwind, kick back and relax. And what better way to do that than with a little dancing and gyrastic activity.

And who better to provide a means to do so than your main ninja behind the mothertrucking trigger, Panama Jackson.

And it goes a little something like this.

Ciara is pretty unimportant. When it’s all said and done, she’s not going to be remembered. It’s young, sad, and blue. But it is what it is. She’s made largely forgettable music even by today’s standards which is no easy feat and has gotten by on her looks. She’s not a good singer, but she can dance her arse off. In fact, the only time anybody is really ever talking about her is when she drops a new video where she does what she does best…

…hump something. So brings us her latest video featuring Ludacris, “Ride” a song that is not about school buses or horses. It’s about, ya know, riding. And since she thinks most of you women need pointers, the video provides many a tip and instructional visualism to make sure you do it right.

And fellas? You’re welcome.

On the flip side, we have dancing gone wrong. This is a video from a group out of the UK called The Imaginations (they are the original for the sample for Talib Kweli’s “Never Been In Love”). And you really do need one to imagine that the lead singer in this video actually wants to holler at your sister and not your daddy. However, choreographically speaking? This might be one of the most hilarious videos in the creation fo videography. I wish I could have been on the set. I’ve got two words for you: pelvic thrusts.

My people? You’re welcome. Enjoy.

And finally comes a video I spotted at one of my favorite music blogs, The Smoking Section. And they’re right, the video just might be one of the funniest I’ve ever seen. Watch it. Love it. Accept it.

Thank me later.

You’re welcome.

Isn’t your Friday now better?

Do you have any videos worthy of note? Share.

Pretty please.

Panama needs some light in his life.

  1. I saw that Ride video the other day…girl is getting desperate…but it should sell something. That song with JT sold right?

YES! I need it to be Friday so my LED can get delivered and I can go try this boxing class at my new MMA gym.

    • Yeah, I’m diggin’ the “Ride” joint too. Her moves are sharp, sexy, and keeps one’s eyes glued to the screen wondering what she’s going to do next. However, when watching the video, it just makes me want to watch her “Promise” video. This “Ride” joint seems like it would be a prequel to “Promise”. The “Promise” video is flawless. The “Promise” video is simple, yet so complex. The subtle, or at times, not-so-subtle wardrobe and dance moves in “Promise” still makes it superior to many other videos of its type. I liked everything in the “Promise” video from the microphone gymnastics to the H-Town stomping towards the end. Just dope.

Did I mention how much I enjoy Ciara’s “Promise” video?

  2. I think it’s official… I don’t have enough fun walking down the street in a group.

and no salt or hate but the best part of Ciara’s new video is Luda’s verse.

When ever i need a smile/laugh I tend to watch the “angry eyes baby” video or the “baby laughing tearing paper” … something about them finding joy in the simplest of simple things make it a lot easier for me to smile too.

    • thank you! i was accused of hating (i really believe that ppl say this when they don’t know what the hell else to say) when i said that her dancing wasn’t all that. i’m not saying i can do it, but i know buku ppl that can do that and then some. lol

whenever i need some cheering up, i watch my boy Bangs and listen to him tell me that he wants to take me to the movies. or i watch his “My Special Girl”

      enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmJbJs-9ST0

    • @J.Delicious, I think it’s official… I don’t have enough fun walking down the street in a group.

NOBODY is haveing enough fun walking down the street in a group after seeing these guys. I just want to walk places and weave in and out of things with my homeys now.

  3. Wow no rainbow but Uncle Cecil errr Cyara did a great job of instructing the rest of you about what to do when its time to saddle up. Chick was rockin the riding gloves and all.

Word to the ATL shaaawty and the princess of crunk’n b!

  4. Ok, I gotta give it up to Ciara. That is all. I wonder if they’ll start teaching this dance at the local gym…

  5. I’m gonna react to each of these in the order they appear:

    1) D@mn…just d@mn…
    2) WTF!!? Braids w/ cowrie shells? Daisy Dukes? Gold Chains and Headbands? This is just too much…too much I say…
    3) Videos have come a long way….regardless, I like the Whispers…you gotta respect the ‘Staches…

    • @DG,

Not only must we respect the ‘Staches, but we gotta respect that the brother in the white slacks was GETTIN’ IT! Much respect and love for the Whispers!

    • and please don’t forget the garter the guy had on. i wonder if he was waiting for cowry shell dude to take it off of him.

    • Phonte’s Comment from Smoking Section (I was done after reading this):

This is one of the greatest videos in Negro history. My man in the red is named Nicholas Caldwell, one of the group’s founding members and aka, the OG Epic Beard Man. One look at his dance steps and you too will agree that he is, indeed, a motherf*cker.

I’ve watched this video a million times and often wondered what led to them puttin ol’ boy in the back like that:

OG EBM: “Yeah, n*ggas…..we finna shoot this video…I’mma be lookin right and my ‘ography bout to be TIGHT!”

Scotty: “Uhhh, yeah….about that….man, we gon need you to stand in the back cause you be all hammin it up onscreen and sh*t. I mean, me and Walter are the lead singers.”

      Walter: *nods in agreement*

OG EBM: “Oh word? It’s like THAT? Y’all wanna hate on me cause y’all two left-footed n*ggas can’t dance? Wanna hate on me cause y’all thick azz moustaches won’t connect to your goatee and sh*t? Aight…..I got something for y’all n*ggas….”

*shows up on set with red coat*

Walter and Scotty (in unison): “THE F*CK IS YOU DOIN, DOG?!?! YOU KNOW D*MN WELL THAT SH*T WON’T IN THE WARDROBE LIST!”

OG EBM: “Well, since I’m in the back and all…..I mean….y’know. *spins*

      Other Whispers: “This n*gga here….”

      /scene

      • @SouthernCharm

        Aight…..I got something for y’all n*ggas….”

*shows up on set with red coat*

Walter and Scotty (in unison): “THE F*CK IS YOU DOIN, DOG?!?! YOU KNOW D*MN WELL THAT SH*T WON’T IN THE WARDROBE LIST!”

OG EBM: “Well, since I’m in the back and all…..I mean….y’know. *spins*

This right here!!!!!….what you just wrote??….has tears streaming down my face!!! HILARIOUS!!!!! Especially the “spins” part. You are my new favorite person!!!!!! (crying from holding in laughter while at work)

        • I have just been reincarnated after reading that comment right there. Classic. I kept thinking “on snap, how did the GEICO Cave dude make the video.”

  6. Video 2 had me weak…. thank you!

1.You gotta respect the soulful disco stylings of Sylvester. That man could sang. But I just love how he is serving you lip gloss and a wash a go, then a Mr. Rourke white/cream suit and a fan! The dancers in the satin baseball jackets are notable too:

  7. Hey… Gotta love The Whispers!! I feel like I need to dust, or fold clothes on a Saturday morning while watching The Smurfs..

  8. damn.. imagination.. i still have all their vinyls… i still know all the words…
brit soul classics.. am gonna drop some of their tunes in the mix at my next chill out…
have to go find a download for my pod pronto….
thanks so much for the reminder…
    yes…. a happy friday….

  9. Dancing gone wrong, you say?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGVqEDk9YpE

That one had me and the homies rollin a few years ago. There was just too much going on to pick what was funniest: the guy looking like a gay Carlton Banks, the song itself (made even more hilarious by the fact that my 70s-80s baby of a sister knew the words to this joint when I showed it to her), or the video looking like it was shot at some do-it-yourself booth at a Kings Dominion or something.

…and do I really need to post Ms. Beyonce’s “Get Me Bodied”?

I figure that if I’m gonna sh*t on Ciara’s dancing, I should supply reinforcements.

    Happy Friday deez,
    Kenisha

    • @Kenisha – re: Troop’s spread my wings, must like a lot of videos from the late 80s and 90s, i always wonder one thing…

…whats with all the pianos on the beach and desert videos? why wa that hot in th streets?

      • I ‘on know; I’ve never considered it. I guess there’s some appeal to the music/soul/life connection. Couple that with the nature/soul/life connection, and you end up with an appreciation for creation. Well, that, and it was probably cheaper than buildin’ a set or rentin’ a spot.

  11. 1. Motivation to get back on track. Being on a drought inactive for a while will have you all stiff and inflexible…

2.Okay, am I wrong for wanting dude’s head band and gold necklace. Shit would look cute with my white dress, jus sayin…

    3. Them ninjas look like dancing clones of Lionel Jefferson. And is it me, or is the negro who always wears red (in any group) the one always being extra?

  12. I”m new to commenting on VSB!
@Ciara: she’s a sweet girl that can Dance. never been able to sing, if all else fails she can always work at Magic City…..her and Mya need to pull A “Christina Milian” and marry a fat pooh bear Producer so they can have $ and a potential VH1 spinoff

  13. Ciara? Getting by on looks? She not really pretty to me…pretty regular. Bish can dance though!! How bout all Pretty Ricky’s basement choreographed videos. They stayed doin some monkey bouncin’. Just as bad as Ray J’s “Gifts” moves.

  14. yes, my friday feels a WHOLE lot betta! thankoo!!

but pls remember us internationals when you post! the ciara video doesn’t allow me to open coz of some dumb geographical restrictions on content what-what…my question is this – what’s the flippin’ point of the World Wide bloody Web if it’s not… WORLD WIDE, HELLOOOOOO!!!

    Nx!

  15. um, that ciara video is about to contribute to the fast@ssness of so many 12 year old girls, it’s ridiculous

    • @naturallyalise1

I’ll thank you now…..I use to LOVE this song!!!! (I’m showing my age big tyme!! lol) Thanks for sharing.

  16. Not really a video, but a commercial that surely puts me in a jovial mood is that sock puppet commercial advertising the Kia Sorento (I think) car. That shyt goes hard. Them n*ggas be rockin’ out majorly having the best time in the world on the mechanical bull (I knew this related to Ciara’s video in some way) and just ridin’ out. Even the Robot doing the robot is hilarious to me. The commercial makes driving the Kia Sorento the newest drug of choice.

I think I wanna test drive a Kia now just to see if makes me feel like that.

  17. Through that entire Whispers Video my eyes were glued to their feet to see if ANY of them got outta step or was on the wrong foot walking down the street.

My Momma and Auntie would be proud to know they NEVER got outta step with each other.

    *golf clap*

  18. Ciara- wow..I need to get my ride game up. Seriously, does it really take all that though..talk to me fellas.

In and Out of Love – LOL! I will bet any amount of money those three dudes..don’t even like Pu**y. This video is absolutely the funniest isht..Ive ever seen..when they do the dip and drop..yowza!

I love the Whispers. They are about the voices..they never claimed to be the Temps or the Four Tops.

  19. Ciara’s video: a coupla pron stars could take notes from that
    The UK ppl: LOL
The Whispers: LMAO, videos have definitely came a long way. The Whispers are classic good music though!

  20. Ciara is basically a stripper with a record deal to me. She’s Janet Jackson without the good songs and the vocal ability (that’s not saying much).

After watching her videos I always feel that I just wasted $3.99 on the first minute and $1.99 for each minute after that.

  21. icanhazcheeseburger is my daily laugh!! Them cats are just evil sometimes and hilarious!!! Some of the captions fit their expressions so well, lol.

  22. i got nothin since watching vids at work just might push the ‘mans’ (aka my bosses) over the edge. reading and typing are fundamental..you tube not so much. ha! i’ll catch up on sunday

    happy friday yall!!
    *insert happy dance here.

  23. Aw man dont hate on The Whispers. That video is a classic. If I could I’d grow a face fro just like The Whispers and start (ressurrect) a trend.

  24. Ciara’s video did nothing but keep me focused on keeping my 2-pack intact for the summer. lol She can dance her auss off.

So why am I going to add that Imaginations song to my iPod when I get home. lol The lead singer’s lip gloss was poppin…and I’m using those dance moves when I go to the party tonight!

Next time me and my girls out…we walking down the street like the Whispers…I’d prolly be the fool in the middle walking like I don’t have sense….

and I don’t…at least 33% of the time.

  25. I don’t call simulated phcuking, dancing, maybe because I know the talent required for real dance and such fukcery..*kanye shrug*

    • Hmm. I’m interested in your theory as to why simulated phuckery ain’t dancing. I mean, it does require some sort of rhythm, right? Or is it lack of technique? But then, someone could argue that it does. lol

For real, I’m so sincere. I mean, no what Ciaria does is not trained dancing, but it’s more “club dancing”…with an extra twist and a snap.

      • Its my opinion Cheekie but even something like Belly dancing requires more skill, and technique…… now knowing how to phuck requires skill but a diff set, and it doesn’t always translate into being a good dancer either and vice versa, also but when folk say someone can dance their ass off. I think of folks like Fatima R, and some of her students etc..where it is about skill, talent, technique and not just fake riding something, that extra overly vulgar dancing and twerking n sh*t..I don’t even like male strippers LOL

  26. The Whispers – Gotta love em! They are the epitome of “How Grown Folks Be Gettin It”.

Ciara – At this very moment, I am convinced that I’ve experienced/seen so much in life that it is difficult to impress me. Yes, Ciara can definitely dance; but her dancing in this video is nothing to write home and tell Mama about. We’ve seen this from her a million times already. *YAWN*

Now that dancing is on my mind……:

    ABDC (Beat Freaks)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAUusxh_39A

Breakin (First Battle with Eletro Rock):
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNJN8r1YamY

    • her dancing in this video is nothing to write home and tell Mama about. We’ve seen this from her a million times already.

Exactly. Same video moves she was doing back in like ’07. She has an ill body, she’s a pretty girl, but dancing nah unh, she aint.

      • @Dom

I mean, seriously. I remember when Usher’s dancing was on fire! With every new video, he wowed us with a little something extra special. Someone should tell Ciara her dancing needs more people! lol!

        • @CNotes

No you didn’t! LOL Okay, okay…I confess. About five years ago I bought both: Breakin I & II on sale at WallyWorld. And I just may wanna watch them over the weekend for nostalgia’s sake.

The last time I pulled it out, there was an accident. Yep, little cousins and the girls are hooked on “Breakin’ ” so much that while they were copying dance moves, someone got the bright idea to pick up the other and spin them around. Only to drop them. So when asked what happened to the other’s forehead….her response (without remorse at the time) was: “I dropped her.” Which in turn she almost got dropped.

          • @Ms.Butta’sWorth

LMAO!!!!! This all all your fault! If you had not brought Ozone and Turbo into your home, those kids would not be spinning on their heads and trying to do the Top Rock!! LOL! j/k

      • @ Ms. Butta’sWorth,

“I even think my mom had a crush on Ozone.”

^Girl, my lil’ elementary school behind had a crush on Ozone. That man has aged well and still looks good!

        • @legitimate_soul

….now looking around with my index finger raised on the side of my cheek…

I can’t lie. Gurl, I did too. A part of my earlier confession that I conveniently left out…him and the leader of Electro Rock in Breakin II (who Kelly danced with towards the end, at the street festival to save Miracles). LoL (I should not remember the scenes/lines of a movie about break dancin’, but I do.)

…now googling Adolfo Quinones Let me find out….

  27. Re: Ciara’s Video

It’s a great video. And yes, that girl can dance her arse off. I ain’t mad at her. I am, however, #envygreen. Go girl.

Re: The other videos Panda posted

I’mma have to look at those later in the day because it is too early to be dying with laughter while watching YouTube. Gotta look productive for a minute.

#fridayshamlessplug: I started a new solo blog which will include all my foolery cheekiness thoughts that I post on here, except in blog form instead of comment form. Hope ya’ll check it out. Click on my name to get there.

    • Congrats on the new site Cheekie.

Trust me, I think this video along with the Promise video deaded that dumbass rumor that Ciara was a man. If a woman doesn’t look like Beyonce or Alicia instantly the detractors come out in droves.

And that Whispers video … check out the brother in the red, it’s all you need to see.

      • Thanks, Brando!

“Trust me, I think this video along with the Promise video deaded that dumbass rumor that Ciara was a man.”

Yeah, that onesie she wore in “Ride” that was molesting her cooch, to name one aspect alone…

        • Yeah, that onesie she wore in “Ride” that was molesting her cooch

I don’t know what’s funnier…the fact you said she was wearing a onesie…or that it was molseting her cooch

Those shots where she was standing next to Luda…she had to have had her shoes off and leaning to make them look the same height b/c that ninja is short! I seen him in person…and if me and CiCi are the same height…ain’t know way her and Luda seeing eye to eye and she got on 4 inch heels

  28. I think Ciara is very “talented” when it comes to seductively hood dance moves, which can come in handy behind closed doors with your SO. As a singer, No Comment. And as already stated, “Promise” IMO is the best one she has to offer. To be honest, I really don’t think she’s must different from Bey…aside from the singing; they both like many of today’s young ladies ring loud n’ clear the sign of: “Hey, look at me y’all…I can do tricks with my _____ and my _____ . Want some?” LOL….but umm, not really.

However, it IS entertainment. Some will like it and others won’t. I don’t see it as hatin’…not necessarily. Depends. The way I see it, “this act” will never get old….it’ll always “be new” to someone….unless they’re over 65….and there’s probably a few….very few exceptions to that.

And Panama, why you gotta play The Whispers like that? I grew up on their music. Haha….still like to listen to them on occasion. (80′s baby) But that video was hilarious. Dude walking between Scottie and Walter had the stride of Donald Duck.

In and Out of Love – once the camera gave the viewer a closer shot of dude with his hair braided in the beaded shells, my fist bawled up by its damn self. The shame….the horror.

Now, this is my isht. I know its old….still my isht though. And finding someone to dance and shimmy wasn’t even necessary for this song or video. And yet, I’m sure it gave many viewers/listeners the same effect.

    http://vodpod.com/watch/1535381-bilal-soul-sista

(Love me some Bilal, but he did remind me of a praying mantis in the video…a little.)

  29. not even done reading the post, but just had to stop at the “young, sad and blue” reference. I will officially be singing that for the rest of the day. Used to be my jam…ok, carrying on to read the rest of the post now.

  30. Sad to say even the last two videos, as ridiculous and hilarious as they were, put Ciara’s to shame to me. At least they had something interesting to look at.

Thanks for that P, this week has been hell and I really needed a laugh this morning.

    Happy weekend all!

  31. Vid 1) Great googly-moogly!! She could have all my kids

Vid 2) Why all 80′s pop groups videos look like a gay pr0n trailer? Cocaine is a helluva drug….

Vid 3) Dont this look like “Anchorman:The Ebony Chronicles”? And why they all look like Black Dynamite

    • Oh please don’t get me going on that dude! Love. Him. There’s not one song on any of his albums that I do not like. And ladies can say all they want about that man when he was once rockin’ the scruffy faced look…..I’oun (yes, I’ioun) care. It really wouldn’t matter to me if I never knew what that dude looked like, his vocals are sick! Now THAT’S talent IMB. Pure talent….even with his clothes on… kee-kee

And a great sense of humor about himself too. I had no idea that he was quite the comedian.

But this isht right here ^^^….was the truth as American Gangster’s soundtrack, it complimented that part in the film perfectly….(so were many others of his, to include “The Truth”).

Why o’ why….did you have to bring him up? …let me sit down somewhere, I’m ’bout to cry….I kid, I kid. Just saying.

        • @Wu Young Agent of M.E.

channeling Yvette (a la Baby Boy Ihatechu’! LOL

I had that joint on repeat when the album first came out…track #5. You know lots of folks who enjoy his music say that his voice/songs literally have brought tears to their eyes.

….and track #9 (Float). This ish just made “you” wanna do it. Fuh’ real.

          • Ms. Butta’sWorth…finally an artist i can relate to. that lil recession is one of the most talented ones we have out right now…if not THE most talented. I’m not going to list his whole catalog…which should be listed my joints from this last album is “her heart” , “souls on fire”, and “the point of it all”

whew….”i can’t stay away from you to long…even if i do i always call”…good lawd!

I know exactly what you mean.

The man is like a cool breath of fresh air.

            He’s cool, I’m cool….so “we” cool. ;-)

          *stomps feet*

He makes me wish I could sing, just so I could sing this song!

          • “Ain’t bathed can’t shave…” I need a some liquor of the brown variety now. Sh*t!

Everybody has been to that point iat sometime in their life.

When that cd came out my barber was playing it and when “I’m a mess” came on every dude in the place just shut up. No macho b.s. nobody smiled, just deep reflection. The doors of the church may as well have been just opened. The only other song that ever did that to the entire shop was “For the Good Times”.

            Y’all don’t hear me.

        • @Wu Young Agent of M.E.

But to your comment: Hamilton doesn’t get enough credit for what he does. <— I concur with that. But his songs are classics…well, I think so.

Its not the type of music where you can listen to just the melody…or even the lyrics and be able to tell which era it was made in. All you know is, its timeless…no matter what year we're in, one can still relate to its meaning…and its beats/melody never really goes out of style….synonymous with some of Stevie Wonder's music. Well, he's the Stevie Wonder/Donny Hathaway…and a dash of one part Marvin, one part David Ruffin (lookin' boy…lol) of our time….well sans the addiction and other personal isshas.

Speaking of "I'm A Mess" : On his latest album track6 – "Hard To Breathe" kind of reminds me of one another, where Love and Misery ride side by side. Like "The Day We Met" reminds me of "Since I Seen't You".

          • @ Wu,

Preach! A.H may just go down in history with a few other old negro spirituals.

Made me change my plan, Walk in a different space
Loving you is all I seem to think about…AndWill u let me go if I, Turn around and walk the other way…
Or would u haunt my heart, For the rest of my life?
I don’t want to be caught up in you and
I don’t want to have to see your face
            I every other woman

It get’s hard to breathe…Only when I’m next to you, I guess I got caught up in you…I got to break these chains
It’s so hard to sleep…I feel your love is closing in,
Forcing me to play my hand…And I don’t want to win

            Okay, I’m done.

        • Oh, don’t apologize! That’s what real music does man…make you repeat the lyrics like the other person listening didn’t hear them the first time, lol

  34. okay dude with the loose tie and glasses is slaying me.

and dude’s beard in the red jacket… lmbo. ican’t.

    i heart the whispers though.

every earth wind & fire video cracks me up until i can’t breathe anymore though. and i heart them. but man… what were they on? lmbo.

and BWAHAHAHAAHA!!! at that Imagination video. oh noooo. i laughed from the first squeal of a note. whyyyy?? yes, he was def trying to holla at her brethren. jussayin. this cheered up my day. thanks. lmbo.

and CiCi… kinda feeling myself bc i can do allathat. i’d never broadcast an example to the world though. i think only him who should be aware of that, should be able to describe it. wow. these songs and these chicks are getting a lil out of hand. now i’m going to have to smack one of my 14-16 yr old students for singing about riding and grinding the gym bleachers. ugh.

  35. That’s probably Ciara’s best video yet…but I have to say Jamaican’s been poppin like that since the 80′s! aint nothin new…except we have hips and ass. BAM BAM lol

  36. Yeah Ciara can dance, but seeing as how Ive attended many “hair shows” and “dance competitions” as a teen in Chicago. These moves are very familiar. There is only so much more innovation once can do with body rolls and booty twitchin.
Now far as posting hilariously awful music videos..I LIVE for that shit.
1st I shall start with the classic
    “Beat My Dick” by Pringles
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN7FnLADTG8

Then! I will hit you with a personal fave “Big Girls”
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyMdnaNyovM

Lastly may I present to you Phillip Micheal Thomas’ underrated classic :
“Just the way I planned it”:

I couldn’t imagine like without these gems. All courtesy of rapperthstsuck.com, and everythingisterrible.com. If you aint up on these sites, you losin at this thing called life.

    • @RocktheCatbox,

      Hilarious.

I’m hollarin’ at the racist office party. Oh my dayum…those women look a hot azz mess. And all while creeping through the man’s cubicle to The Lion King’s soundtrack? Really?

Dudes rockin’ onesies kind of reminds me of Thing 1 and Thing 2 from a Dr. Seuss book.

Smh and lmao at the madness.

  37. Why are all the women in the Keep On Lovin Me video lightskinned, but the men are chocolate?? Things that make you go hmmm…ain’t sh*t changed.

  38. I’ll pass on Ciara, can’t stand her voice. The others were perfect for my Saturday morning chill session.

    Peace, Love and Chocolate

  39. Why ole boy in the red at :13-:15 felt the need to shuffle twice and hit a spin? real talk, i’m still laughing at that. my man shuffled twice and spun. im like, “is this real?”

  40. No shade but despite Ciara’s slick dance moves, this video reeks of desperation to sell records–especially since “Fantasy Ride” flopped. I think when she first came onto the scene, she was trying too hard to be a “Dirty South” version of Aaliyah. The only difference between her and Aaliyah is that Aaliyah blended good music, singing, and tasteful videos together effortlessly. Ciara needs to find her own identity. Her talent is mediocre at best, and the only reason anyone watches her videos is to watch her dance.

1, 2 Step was the last thing I liked by her.
