Father Of All Fuckshit Drops Mother Of All Bombs In The General Vicinity Of ISIS Or Something Because He Likes To Hear Things Go “Bang!”

Do the people who voted for and still support Donald Trump — a man who, to his credit, seems to be doing exactly what he said he was going to do during his campaign — realize that if Trump’s actions do lead to a world war, they’ll be dead and shit too? That while Whiteness can protect you from racism, bias, poverty, unemployment, substandard education, apathetic health care, general accountability, and United Airlines, it will not protect them from getting their faces blown the fuck off by the perpetually annoyed great aunt of all bombs (PAGAOAB) or whatever the fuck else the countries irritated and threatened by us have up their sleeves? Do they maybe just believe that heat-seeking missiles just target niggas with hypertension?

I wish these were rhetorical questions.

  • President Obama was the first two term President to be at war every day he was in office. He publicly dropped bombs and ordered assassinations in at least seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan. And he generally did so without any Congressional approval or opprobrium from his voters. In fact the people who were opposed to Obama’s actions were called all sorts of nasty names by those who thought the man could do no wrong.

So why care if Trump does the same thing? War is the new normal for US Presidents. Let’s not pretend that there was any sort of antiwar movement during Obama’s years in office. And any antiwar movement that starts up now will be almost solely motivated by political considerations, not moral ones.

    • nillalatte

War did not start with Obama. So stop. Bush took us there first. First Afghanistan, then Iraq. He made an agreement and Obama honored it to pull out of Iraq. Obama also sought Congressional approval and they did not support his efforts.

Why care? Because he’s a gotdamn abusive narcissistic psychopath. I was MOAB this time. Next time, he’s going nuclear. He does not understand the power of a nuke. H3ll, he can’t understand a lot of shyt, like government.

      • I didn’t say that Obama started war. He expanded it and increased it. Obama bombed Syria without explicit Congressional approval by stating that going after ISIS and Al-Nusrah and a few other organizations was already covered under an AUMF. This argument leaves out the fact that those organizations did not exist when the AUMF was created.

There was no explicit authorization of war against Pakistan but Obama greatly expanded the use of drones there to the point where a refugee crisis started. I don’t remember seeing too many posts condemning Obama’s Tuesday morning kill lists.

The whole point of seeking Congressional approval is that if it isn’t forthcoming there isn’t supposed to be a war. Obama wasn’t the first President to ignore that rule and won’t be the last. My problem is that people tend to give those they like politically a pass. When someone they don’t like does the exact same thing suddenly they are outraged. This could all be avoided if Presidents would obey the law and Congress had the guts to defund wars they didn’t approve and impeach Presidents who engaged in them. No one is innocent here-not Obama, not Trump, not Republicans, not Democrats, and not the voters.

You speak of nukes. I share your concern. But the US has refused to adopt a no first nuclear weapons policy. This was policy before Trump and is still policy now. Again, if we want to prevent crazy people from doing crazy things we must be willing to hold “good” people to the same standards we want “bad” people to follow.

        • nillalatte

I can’t remember when Obama had Congress declare war that he could expand and increase. Why are you hung up on Obama anyway?! Stop deflecting. Stay focused on the situation currently. You’re trying to justify that azzholes actions. I’m all for holding people accountable. Will you send Bush to Malaysia? He’s been convicted of War Crimes there and needs to serve his time.

          • Spicy Kas

            You are misunderstanding his point.

            • nillalatte

Then please Kas, hit me with the bullet because all I kept reading was what seemed like a justification for tRump ‘because Obama did it’ mentality. Granted, that irritates me a lot and I see that constantly on other sites/comments.

              • Spicy Kas

He is only pointing out hypocrisy not saying it’s ok.

              • Spicy Kas

Now I have this stuck in my head

                • nillalatte

LOL… only you, me and pops could have possibly linked that with my statement. This was the shyt back in the day. :)

          • I am not deflecting. I don’t know how many times I need to point out that the law applies to all Presidents. All Presidents have ignored it when they have found it convenient. It is incredibly hypocritical for there to be a post taking Trump to task for dropping bombs in Afghanistan when outside of the people at blackagendareport and a few other places, virtually no one in the black community or progressive community cared a whit about Obama doing the same doggone thing.

Trump is using bigger bombs. That’s about the only difference.

Congress didn’t declare war on Libya or Yemen or Somalia but Obama dropped bombs there. As a few consistent people tried to point out at the time Obama was not going to be the last President. His expansions of Presidential authority and power would be used and enjoyed by Presidents after him who have different (arguably worse) levels of judgment and probity.

If it’s not obvious by now I am generally anti-war. But if war must be waged it should be in self-defense or with the authority of Congress. Presidents, and the interests they represent, have always found such limits tiresome, and ignored them whenever possible. This is a systemic problem for both parties that has gotten worse over time. I bring up the actions of the previous President not to justify those of the current one but to point out the shameless hypocrisy and double standards which have become par for the course on both sides of the political spectrum.

“Obama bombed Syria without explicit Congressional approval by stating that going after ISIS and Al-Nusrah and a few other organizations was already covered under an AUMF. ”

Obama sought an AUMF for Syria and the Congress refused to give him one.

    • Val

Obama did get a lot of heat for those drone strikes.

As an unfortunate resident of the South – they are openly hoping for the end times so they’ll be raptured and us godless liberals will be boiled in a lake of fire.

    I wish I were joking.

    • cakes_and_pies

Why do they love saying ‘This is a sign of the end times.” All the time?

      • CookingCanBeFun

It’s all they’re looking forward to. It’s sad.

        • cakes_and_pies

They romanticize the mess out of it.

I’m sure they’ll be floating to heaven, while making it rain in those massive strip clubs they be having over there.

The problem is none of them want to die and dying is a must. Many will also be disappointed , I am looking at you prosperity preachers

      Florida resident here. Sigh.

  • KeciB

If we’re all going to die from Trump’s inability to stop playing with dangerous shiny things simply because they attract his attention like a two year old and his need to prove he’s a big boy despite his tiny hands, please don’t let it be before Easter. I’ve been craving dressing.

    • Cheech

Dressing at Easter? Seems like such a fall/winter food. Never had it in spring.

      • KeciB

In my mama’s house, dressing was made anytime she had a craving. I reserve it for certain holidays, including Easter. I live in Chicago, it may snow next week, so I don’t differentiate between winter and spring.

        • Cheech

          Ah. “Chicago” explains it.

(My one visit to Wrigley Field was on April 3 one year. It was snowing. And the guys in front of me had their shirts off, and were chugging cold beer.) (Enjoy your dressing!)

          • Zil Nabu

Sounds reasonable to me. *waving from the Blue line*

          • KeciB

I guess I could’ve just said that one word. I will enjoy every bit of it along with numerous French 75s.

  • Multi-Hundredaire

So, the heat keeps getting turned up with all of the evidence of Russian collusion….almost daily. Then out of nowhere, 45 cares enough about mofos he won’t let in the country, to bomb the sh-t out of a basically empty airfield. Then drop a superbomb on “tunnels” that mysteriously appeared out of noweher……..and noooooooononnnne of “those people” see the okey doke? Word?

    • Cheech

When Bill Clinton unleashed Tomahawks on an Al Qaeda training camp to try to get bin Laden, they accused him of “wagging the dog” to distract from the Lewinsky scandal. Then, later, they tried to belittle him for not doing enough to get bin Laden.

      PS, OAN: great handle.

What was that about them both being bad choices, you Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein votin’ ninjaz?

    • Me

Clinton is also pro-war. She just wouldn’t be using it as a distraction from her other policy drama like Trump is.

      • Tat

“You tryin’ to mock me, C.J.? Good, because whatever an ignorant, low-class geechy like you has to say isn’t worth paying attention to, is it?”

*Full disclosure, I had to google this quote, so… thanks for the reading recommendation.*

    • Val

Hillary spoke publicly the day before Trump bombed Syria saying she thought military action was needed. So.

      • Tat

I don’t necessarily have a problem with a president taking military action against ISIS, provided that there is a thought out strategy based on an underlying doctrine. Here, however, we have someone going willy nilly on everything, the embodiment of Captain Chaos. He’s an isolationist, who now thinks is cool to meddle in world affairs with bombs and pre-announced air strikes. He bans Muslims (from countries where he has no business affiliations). He’s trying to throw 24 million people off health care. He was cosigning for Putin. Anybody who still thinks that Trump = Clinton or better yet does not think that Clinton > Trump is an idiot.

        • Val

You are not having a linear conversation at the moment. I don’t know how you got from my comment to what you just said.

          • Tat

My initial comment was to those who didn’t think there was a difference between Clinton and Trump, so they voted for someone else, not caring that this could increase the likelihood of a Trump presidency. Now that we’ve had almost three months of President Trump, I’m just saying “do you still think there isn’t a difference.” Your comment was specifically about the bomb but I’m looking at the entire Trump presidency.

            • Val

              Gotcha.

    • Freebird

Despite them poll numbers you still going to blame black folk huh?

      • Tat

I never advise commenting on Breitbart, but it doesn’t hurt (too much) to visit the comment section on that site. I do it just to see what Trumpsters be thinking. And after this, it seems to me that they generally feel we have the biggest baddest military in the world (which we do), and we’ve spent the last 8 years trying to negotiate with rock throwing, primitive Middle Easterners. So no, they don’t think there will be repercussions or consequences or anything that affects them. These people also have no idea what the heck they’re thinking or doing 98% of the time, but they elected the POTUS sooooooo…..

    • Val

I’m always afraid I’ll pick up a virus over there at Breitbart.

      • AshAlly08

I visit on my work computer … I wouldn’t dare on anything I actually own, lol.

        • UrbanNortheast

My coworker, who is a hardcore Dem (her words) looks at Breitbart at work to see what the other side is talmbout. (We have to be politically aware for our jobs, so no one hides that we look at the news – sometimes we watch stuff in each other’s offices.) Her work computer was acting up the other day & she was like “I bet my computer caught something from Breitbart. Like an STD!” We fell out.
