@Sula, churches are a place to make you feel bad about enjoying your life…and they have the audacity to make you donate money for that cause. Strip clubs on the other hand…you might have a point.

It not the primary purpose, thats why its one class versus multiple, or a forced minor LOL.

But is the role of Higher Education Institution to provide happiness to their students? Isn’t that what churches and strip clubs are for?

Seriously though, a higher education institution primarily role is to provide intellectual knowledge to their students… It’s great if that knowledge can be translated into a better and happier life, but that’s definitely not the primary purpose of institutions of higher learning.

@Panama Jackson, yeah our PE classes were kinda hokey. I wanted to take pistol but it was so hard to get a placement. Still, if Lincoln has a Pe requirement, this doesn’t seem like such a farfetched request. if they don’t then they’re just being jerks.
