I’m a little late to the party, but there is NO WAY Drake sounds like Weezy. First off, I’ve never heard Kanye speak proper English, ever. Wasn’t his Mother an English Professor? As in Tertiary, University level, higher than High School. Every time I hear him speak, I’m baffled why no-one ever challenges him on that.

In a nutshell, Drake is just NOT ghetto, and it shows in his speech, carriage, attitude towards women and in his lyrics. Thank God, because someone needs to represent the current and future Obamas.

Hahaha interesting.. and kind of true! I love his music cuz the beat, the lyrics, and his voice, it just makes the songs perfect! Love the singing and rapping mixture..
i atually used to litsen to kanye aaaalooot before drake , like three years ago but then kanyes music started changing alittle and I discoverd drake! I still like kanyes music though! But I would say that im obsessed with drakes music )

Definition of a hater. This was not that well-written and your points were hardly supported well. Nig Newton? Lightskint guys are good for hair tips? Nah, you’s just a hater son. Give the guy an honest, fair listen, and ask around. I’m sure you’ll come up with a few better reasons. There is a reason respected artists like Jay-Z, Bun B, and Eminem have worked with dude. Just sayin’.

PS the majority of hip hop interviewers are not idiots. They have to have a command of the English language to be able to communication questions clearly. Drake isn’t a front because he has been talking this way since before he was “Drake” (ie, interviews previous to signing with Young Money) so you’re whole “either interviewer or artist has to be a front” logic kills me.
